Eric and Stephanie Glasgow are the owners behind Our Multi Gen Home. Our Multi Gen Home originally started as a blog around living in a multi generational home. Initially there were 4 generations living under one roof: Stephanie’s grandmother, her parents, and our 2 children, all in one household.
A few months after starting the blog, Stephanie’s grandmother passed away at the age of 97. By this time, it also became apparent that Stephanie would not be able to return to work and we needed to downsize our home.
After moving, the pandemic hit and Eric became a full time remote employee, the family decided to move. Stephanie wanted to live back by the beach again (originally from Florida), so we found a house just 2o minutes from Galveston beaches. In September 2021, Stephanie’s father passed away from a chronic illness, and now we are a 3 generation home, with Stephanie’s mother still with us.
In November 2021, Eric wanted to start a small business, so our jam, loose leaf tea, and gluten free snack business was born. In addition to Stephanie and Zoe both having Type 1 Diabetes, Zoe also has Celiac’s Disease, which means she can’t eat anything with gluten. Every snack and baked good item we make is gluten free and dairy free. Some items can even be made egg free to make them accessible to people with food allergies.
We currently sell our products at local vendor markets in the Galveston and Harris County areas, as well as have an online shop for pickup and local delivery.
We also have started a travel agency that specializes in family, culinary (because, food), and special needs travel.
